Quiz-écoutes is a listening resource pack for young French beginners, which comprises a photocopiable worksheet pack plus 4 cassettes.

The aim of the material is to motivate children through enjoyment, by stimulating their imagination and to help them achieve a high standard of listening comprehension through their involvement with the tasks.

The 8 topics - Moi, Ma famille, Mes animaux, Mes passe-temps, Chez moi, Mon corps, J'aime manger, Mon école - are linked by Couscous et ses copains, an amusing group of imaginary creatures, and the huge variety of listening activities includes quizzes, puzzles, surveys, rhymes, stories and games.

Also included are teacher's notes, answer sheets and a complete transcript of the tape, which features a native speaker cast and sound effects, to put the fun back into listening while developing real listening skills in your pupils.

Quiz-écoutes costs £47.95 +VAT.

The equivalent in Spanish and German, íEscúchame! and Hörquiz, are also available at the same price.
