BBC CBeebies - Story Circle Available in: English. Description: The World Story bookcase contains traditional tales in Arabic, Bengali, Cantonese, Gaelic, Hausa, Hindi, Portuguese, Russian, Somali, Swedish, Turkish, Urdu and Welsh, with English translation.

BBC Jam Available in: English. Description: Year 3 - 6 Music - listening to and making world music.

BBC School Radio Available in: English. Description: Music Clips Library - Geographical Locations. Stimulus sounds - bank of sounds which can be used flexibly as stimulus for classroom activities.

Channel 4 - We are from... Available in: English. Description: Find out what it would be like to grow up in an European country - Britain, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and Turkey.

Little Learner Available in: English. Description: Polish and Romanian resources.

EuropaGo! Available in: Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish. Description: European Commission's website for young European citizens aged 10 to 14. This site gives access to interactive and educational games on Europe and the European Union.

Goethe-Institut London Available in: English. Description: 'FUNology' for Primary Classes. Ideas for fun dialogues, activity games, vocabulary games and group games.

Hello-World Available in: English. Description: English, French, German, Indonesian and Russian games, activities, and songs with native speakers.

The Language Investigator Available in: English. Description: Site aimed at primary school teachers who are interested introducing a multilingual dimension into their lessons.

Languages Online Available in: English. Description: Interactive tasks and games, plus worksheets for French, German, Indonesian, Italian.

Little Learner Available in: English. Description: Polish and Romanian resources.

London 2012 Available in: English. Description: Teaching ideas exploring themes linked to the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games.

Lullabies of Europe Available in: English, Turkish, Italian, Danish, Greek, Romanian, Czech. Description: An EU Lingua project 'Languages from the cradle' collecting the lullabies of Europe as an early language learning resource.

Mama Lisa's World: Children's Songs and Rhymes of All Nations Available in: English. Description: Songs from around the world with lyrics translated into English or French and sound clips.

Multilingual Songbook Available in: English. Description: Songs from around the world with lyrics and sound clips.

Modern Foreign Languages Environment (MFLE) Available in: English. Description: Online service for languages teaching in Scottish schools developed by Scottish CILT and Learning & Teaching Scotland. Creative teaching ideas, resources and information for many languages.

Naace Primary Big Book Maker Available in: English. Description: Big Book Maker is a versatile resource which allows children to make their own on-screen books. These can be saved to any computer and used off-line and there is an option to add audio.

Quia Available in: English. Description: Activities for many languages, including Chinese, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Latin, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Turkish, Welsh.

Songs for Teaching Available in: English. Description: Using Music to Promote Learning.  Songs from a wide variety of popular artists are presented by academic subject, many with lyrics, sound clips and teaching suggestions.

Sounds of the world’s animals Available in: English. Description: Animals make much the same sounds around the world, but each language expresses them differently. Explore the sounds of the world's languages through the sounds of the world's animals.

PrimLangues Available in: French. Description: French Ministry of Education site for primary school teachers of foreign languages. Resources for Arabic, English, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish.

Talk To Your Baby Available in: English. Description: National Literacy Trust campaign to help develop young children’s language and communication skills. Resources in Arabic, Bengali, Chinese, English, French, Gujarati, Panjabi, Polish, Portuguese, Tamil, Turkish, Urdu, Welsh and blank version for other languages.

Time for kids Available in: English. Description: Go places - country information and sound clips for various languages.

Tralalere Available in: English. Description: Activities, jokes, karaoke, songs, games in English, French, German, Portuguese, Spanish (some free content currently available).
