Venue: Leeds Trinity & All Saints
Time: 4.00pm for refreshments, 4.30 - 6.30pm session.
Speaker: Wendy Adeniji

Allie Goodwill (Education Leeds) welcomed the attendees at the first RSG of 2008/09. There were 12 attendees - a low number possibly due to Ofsted visits to a lot of local schools. LAs represented were Leeds, Bradford and North Yorkshire. Wendy Adeniji presented ways of 'Using the Interactive Whiteboard to creatively teach languages'. She covered how to insert Moving Images, different ways of using the Interactive Whiteboard and showed lots of clips which are downloadable from the Internet. The attendees were encouraged to sign up for a hands-on session Leeds Comenius are running on 23 October where they will have the chance to put into practice what was learnt at the first session. The attendees picked up various free resource leaflets and also networked with a couple of new members.
