Regular sessions are held at different venues around Bristol,
North Somerset, Bath and North-East Somerset.

Date: 16/10/2008
Title: Digiblue cameras in MFL
Venue: Ashton Gate Primary School
Time: 4 until 5.45
Speaker: Sally Benwell & local teachers

In this session, teachers - some new to digiblues - looked at the pros and cons of using cameras for role play activities, assessment and celebration. Teachers had the chance to try out some new cameras and to borrow them to trial for MFL activities in their schools. They will be reporting back at the November and January sessions. Thanks to Jo of South Glos for this idea. We also shared ideas about new (and old) ways of recording, e.g. the advantages of dictaphones, Combers, portable microphones, display buttons etc. The session highlighted the fact that many teachers do not get a chance for general, not MFL specific, ICT training when they are language specialists, visiting schools.
