East Sussex Regional Support Group holds regular sessions at Chailey or Ringmer School. Date: 24/09/2008 The group began with a game of 'Hello' Bingo using some of the resources provided by CILT for the European Day of Languages. Fiona Edwards then introduced some ideas for schools to use on the day, from songs to quizzes. The group completed the quiz and looked at some resources on line using mflextra and the CILT website. Our guest speaker Eileen Walling from Warden Park demonstrated the resources available for use with the Bear Hunt story. The pack is taken from the West Sussex Grid for Learning and Eileen went through lots of activities from speaking to literacy links. This session was inspiring and motivating. Eileen soon had everyone participating and on their feet miming and playing games. The feedback was very positive with teachers who were able to take away lots of new ideas and always view RSG meetings as a great way to network and meet other local teachers.
