Our first meeting of the new school year welcomed back some regular attendees as we looked at the third year of our four year scheme of work for mixed age year groups and our plans for the coming year. We looked at new aspects including: phonics, language content and progression, assessment, curriculum integration and the songs, plays, themes and projects which will be covered during the year. Colleagues were then able to look at all the resources we will be using and how many have been adapted and extended for use. Feedback was good. Colleagues were pleased to obtain a general overview of the year ahead, to be involved in the planning and see what their input will be.
