Title: Playground games and songs
Venue: Quorn Hall, Quorn, Leicestershire, LE12 8BG
Time: 4.30 - 6.30
Speaker: Andy Crowson
This excellent, inspiring session started with a language quiz, followed by details of new events and resources
before moving on to the main focus of the evening: Playground games and songs, presented by Andy Crowson, Primary MFL teacher and trainer from Nottinghamshire. We practised Spanish clapping games, a circle game Raton que te pilla el gato, and skipped to the rhyme Rey rey, all of which were modeled by children on video. We moved on to a French choosing game, Am stram gram, a clapping game, Mademoiselle, skipping rhymes and lots more - again modeled by children via video. Andy even taught us rhymes in Romanian and Italian plus an African chant. See Andy's blog for more information.
