The
British Council is
the United Kingdom's international organisation for educational
opportunities and cultural relations.
The DCSF Global Gateway team is also based at the British Council and can help schools get started on BC-managed programmes. The Gateway offer leaflets to those supporting networks of teachers, as well as access to groups of link schools in Europe so that teachers can work together with online support. They also give advice on accessing training on podcasting or blogging for regional events.

and culture. |

Italian Cultural Institute
is the official Italian government agency for the promotion of cultural
exchanges between Great Britain and Italy. |

Goethe Institut
is the cultural institute of Germany and provides a network of Goethe-Institutes,
Goethe Centres, cultural societies and language learning centres.
Primary
German Networks take place in the Greater London and Manchester
areas. The events are jointly organised by the Goethe-Institut,
UK-German Connection, CILT and other organisations.
