The Early Language Learning forum (ELL-forum) e-mail discussion list aims to encourage and facilitate discussion, information sharing, exchange of ideas and peer support among practitioners and others involved or interested in early language learning and teaching. Whilst focused on the UK, the forum is also open to anyone with an interest in early language learning internationally.

All contributions related to the field of early language learning are welcomed. Topics of discussion may include, but are not limited to:

  • Use of ICT in primary languages teaching
  • Curriculum planning
  • Assessment
  • Feedback on useful resources
  • Staff development

If you have e-mail access and would like to join the ELL-forum, you must first register a password on the Mailtalk website. Please ensure that you read our forum guidelines and help on using the forum (Word file, 37 KB).

Messages sent to the ELL-forum are stored automatically and are searchable through the ELL-forum archives.
